Silicone Water Repellents / Reactive based Emulsion
AQAREST WR 1300 is reactive Fluid emulsion especially designed for treating substrates to impart and improve water repellent properties.Examples are Textiles and Fibers, Paper, Wood and wood articles, Gypsum Board, Plywood, and Particle Board, Powder, Fire fighting foam & Insulating materials.

FEATURES

HOW TO USE
WR 1300 is usually applied from dilute solution. Solutions are prepared by diluting distilled pure water and stirring the mixture gently until it uniforms. The extent of dilution will depends on the surface to be treated and surface properties desired.Care should be taken that the dilution remains acidic as alkaline PH will lead to evolution of hydrogen.
CURING
Coatings of WR 1300 Emulsion are usually heat cured to develop water repellency. Curing temperatures range from 120°C to 175°C. With catalyst added at a typical ratio of 20:1 (emulsion to catalyst). Curing times are generally 4 to 5 minutes at 150°C or 30 to 40 Seconds at 180°C.
SHELF LIFE
Six months in original container.
STORAGE & HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
It is recommended that normal safety precautions (hand gloves & safety goggles) be taken while handling the product. The material should be stored in original containers in a cool place and protected from direct exposure to sunlight.Product safety information required for safe use is not included.
